You need

1 large white onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
3-4 sticks celery or a bunch of leafy celery from the garden, sliced
2-3 large carrots, sliced or diced
2-3 large kale leaves, or about 300g washed, ready to cook kale or spinach, sliced
500ml crushed tomatoes or passata
20ml tomato paste
250ml mixed grains ( dried lentils, peas and barley)
1-2 fresh chillies, sliced, or 5-10ml dried chilli flakes
30ml Worcestershire sauce
500g diced beef, a few meaty beef bones
200g dried beans, soaked in water for 12 hours, or 1-2 cans drained beans or chickpeas                                                                                                                                     5ml salt

Approximately 1, 5 litters vegetable stock, do not fill the pressure cooker above the limit line

To prepare

Place all the ingredients into the pressure cooker.

Lastly add the stock to fill the pot to the fill line.

Cook for 30 minutes under high pressure.

If you do not have a pressure cooker, I would first sauté the meat in about 150ml canola oil, then add the remaining ingredients. Cook until the meat is tender. Top up with stock as it evapourates and stir occasionally to prevent burning.
